Vehicle Cleaning - Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

 

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and provision of dry ice cleaning services for vehicles ("Services") provided by Adelaide Blasting ("Service Provider"). By booking our Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Booking Confirmation

 

2.1. Booking Process: To confirm a booking, you must provide us with the following information: details of the job (including vehicle make and model), service date, and contact details.

 

2.2. Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed when you receive a written confirmation from us via email, SMS or other written communication.

 

3. Payment Terms

 

3.1 Payment on Completion: Full payment for the Services is due immediately upon completion of the job. The vehicle must not be collected until payment has been received and cleared in full.

 

3.2 Vehicle Collection: Adelaide Blasting will notify you by phone call and/or SMS once the Services are complete. If the vehicle is not collected within 36 hours of this notification, a garaging and storage fee of $30 per calendar day will apply. This fee will accrue daily until the vehicle is collected and paid in full.

3.3 Pre-arranged Vehicle Collection: Where a later vehicle collection date is requested by the customer and agreed in writing by Adelaide Blasting prior to completion of the Services, no garaging or storage fees will apply for the agreed period only.

Any vehicle not collected by the agreed collection date will be subject to the garaging and storage fees set out in clause 3.2.

 

3.3 Loss/Damage for Storage: Adelaide Blasting accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles left on the premises beyond the 36-hour collection period, except to the extent required by law.

 

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

 

4.1. Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your booking, you must provide us with at least 14 days notice prior to the scheduled works date. Cancellations made with less than 14 days notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost.

 

4.2. Rescheduling: You may reschedule your booking subject to availability.

 

5. Service Delivery

 

5.1. Service Provision: Adelaide Blasting will perform work in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

 

5.2. Access to Vehicle: You must provide access to the vehicle (if a vehicle job) and ensure that it is in a condition suitable for performing the Services.

 

6. Responsibilities and Liabilities

 

6.1. Customer Responsibilities: You must ensure that the vehicle is free from any personal items and that the area of the vehicle where the cleaning is to be performed is accessible (for vehicle jobs).

 

6.2. Liability: Adelaide Blasting is not liable for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle or equipment, or any issues arising from the vehicle or equipment's condition. Our liability is limited to the value of the Services provided.

 

7. Insurance

 

7.1. Coverage: Adelaide Blasting maintains appropriate insurance coverage for providing the Services.

 

8. Privacy and Data Protection

 

8.1. Data Use: Any personal data collected during the booking process will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian Privacy Laws.

 

9. Governing Law

 

9.1. Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Australia and the laws of Australia.

 

10. Dispute Resolution

 

10.1. Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or the Services provided will be resolved through negotiation and, if necessary, mediation before resorting to legal action.
